Our annual kick-off gathering is your chance to browse the Solutions Exchange and mingle with sponsors, exhibitors and peers. The Welcome Reception takes place on Monday evening, August 31st from 5:30pm-8:30pm.

VMworld 2009 Party

Goodbye Work... Hello Party! On Wednesday evening Moscone North, South and Yerba Buena Gardens will transform into a party atmosphere that will indulge and excite your senses. Take a turn riding the mechanical bull, rock climbing to new heights, or laser tagging your colleagues. Or for a calmer night, head to the Chill Lounge for video games, or to the Old School Games Terrace to show off your skills. Eat and drink to your heart's content as we sample food from around the world! Dance the night away to the electric DJ Ravi Drums, our very own Elastic Skye with their office grown rock and our headline act: Foreigner, performing some of their chart topping classic hits; "Cold As Ice", "Feels Like The First Time", "Double Vision", and many more! Party Time: 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm

Would you like to bring your spouse or a guest to the VMworld evening activities? Purchase a guest pass for $275 via this website or on-site at the registration desk. Registered guests may attend the VMworld Welcome Reception on Monday, and the VMworld Party on Wednesday.

VMworld 2009 Fun Run
Get set for a busy week and enjoy some sightseeing by joining us for a Fun Run on Monday, August 31 at 6:30 p.m. Starting at Chrissy Field, runners will cross the Golden Gate Bridge, taking in spectacular views of the City by the Bay, Presidio grounds, Marin Headlands, and rush hour commute on the bridge! 5K and 10K options available. Shuttles will pick up and return you to Moscone Center. $10 entry fee gets you a commemorative t-shirt, and benefits Save the Bay. Sign up today!

Is your spouse unable to attend VMworld evening events?
Crystal Lowe has graciously offered to arrange some fun activities for spouses this year at VMworld.
